I'm a qualified Yoga teacher, certified by Yoga Alliance International.

I offer 1:1 and group yoga classes which I tailor to individual and group needs.

Classes I have provided include: Hatha, Yin, Restorative, Vinyasa Flow, chair yoga, gentle / relaxing yoga, yoga for weight loss or menopause and yoga for workplace wellbeing. For my current offerings please see below.

I'm dedicated to providing kind and non-judgemental classes in general, and particularly for complete beginners who are unfit / inflexible. This was how I began Yoga and I understand how difficult it is to go to a class.

Yoga is much, much more than just the pretzel like positions seen in the media, and I would love for everyone to try it - you might be surprised!

Yoga

Yoga is an ancient holistic practice originating from India and aims to unite the mind, body, and spirit.

While it originated as a spiritual discipline, it is now widely practiced as a form of exercise to improve physical and mental well-being.

Yoga classes will generally include 3 key components:

  • Asana (Postures): Physical movements and poses designed to build strength, flexibility, and stamina

  • Pranayama (Breathing Exercises): Breathing techniques to calm the mind and enhance physical and mental health.

  • Dhyana (Meditation): Practices aimed at focusing the mind, promoting a sense of calm, and improving mental wellness.

Yoga for You - Tuesdays 6-7pm

A class for those new to yoga or those preferring a gentle, slower style of practice. A friendly, supportive environment where you can learn how to connect your mind and body through poses (asana), breathwork (pranayama) & meditation.

Holistic Yoga with Reiki Workshop · 26 June, 6.30–8 pm This class can help promote overall wellness by aligning the mind, body, and spirit through movement, breath, and energy healing.

A friendly, supportive environment for all women- beginners to experienced yogis, all shapes, sizes, whether flexible or not ... yoga is for everyone!

Classes begin by settling the mind with a brief, quiet meditation, followed by subtle body awakening and gentle warm-up stretches to release stiffness and improve mobility. Depending on the focus, we'll transition through a slow flow and hatha postures before resting completely in Savasana (a final restorative relaxation). During the practice, we will use guided breathwork to ground the nervous system and steady the mind. A longer guided meditation or Yoga Nidra may be included during Savasana to deepen the practice.

This blend of mental stillness, physical movement, and breathwork will leave you feeling centred, calm, and restored.

This Gentle Yoga class is designed for:

  • True Beginners: Start your practice at a slow, comfortable pace.

  • Healing Bodies: Gentle movements for injury recovery and chronic pain relief.

  • Active Seniors: Maintain mobility, improve balance, and protect your joints.

  • All Bodies & Abilities: Enjoy a welcoming space for every size, shape, and fitness level.

  • Mindful Movement: Unwind with an easy, stress-free, and calming practice.

The practice skips intense flows and complex balance postures, concentrating instead on gentle stretches and movements to help you improve mobility, find comfort in movement and release stress.

Every session includes conscious breathing and breathwork, finishing with a soothing guided meditation at the end. You will leave feeling more mobile, grounded, and thoroughly relaxed.

Are you already feeling the mid-summer rush?

These intimate, low-stimulus Summer Yin sessions are designed to let your nervous system recover from mid-week burnout in the beautiful sanctuary of the Sowena Nature Cabin in Chacewater.

While summer brings beautiful, long days, it can also bring a frantic pace. This extended 75-minute practice is your dedicated space to pause, slow down, and unplug. Held in a peaceful cabin completely surrounded by fields and birdsong, you will have the extra time your body needs to fully settle, cool down, and release the tension of a busy week.

The Experience:

- 75 Minutes of Deep Rest: An unhurried, longer session offering a true escape from daily time pressures.

- Targeted Yin Yoga: We use held floor poses to target connective tissues mainly in the hips, spine, pelvis, and joints, improving mobility, flexibility, and circulation. With the aid of props for comfort, the slow pace allows for deep release and signals the brain to shift from "fight-or-flight" to the rest-and-digest state.

- Extended Yoga Nidra: We’ll finish with a prolonged Yoga Nidra, a guided meditation that provides profound nervous system repair and restorative rest, which studies show improves sleep quality and reduces insomnia

- Full Premium Comfort: All mats, blocks, and props are provided on-site so you can simply arrive and unwind.

Suitable for beginners. Leave the rush at the door and spend 75 minutes replenishing your energy in nature.

WOMEN ONLY Yoga

60 minute classes at Redruth CC are £10 per session or 5 class passes are £45 offering a 10% discount on the single class price.

Summer Yin session at Sowena - is £12 per 75 minute session, 3 class pass for £33 or 5 week Summer Decompression Pass £50.

Don't let not having a mat stop you! If you would like to try a class without purchasing a mat first, I can lend you one for a class - please contact me prior to attending to check if a mat is available.

Blocks are provided, but you're welcome to bring your own props if you have any.
